I seem to lack the motivation, resolve and spare time to tackle any of my New's Years resolutions. I haven't started boot camp again yet. This is partly due to short funds to buy more than the most basic food, and the time to just sit down and go over everything to get started. Everytime I try to write a page, a baby wakes up, or my sleep deprived mind refuses to cough up the necessary words. And the smoking... What can I say? I am so stressed out that half the time, the very idea of quitting makes my whole body clench with panic. These short breaks to poison myself are usually the only me time I can squeeze out of my day. I am really going to have to work on this. What a crummy way to start the year.
There are lots of big events coming up for us! Derick will be 30 years old in a couple of weeks, and just a couple of weeks after that, the twins will turn 1. I am so excited for both. I want to do BIG birthday parties, but of course this is requiring an amount of time to plan that I just can't seem to find.
Ariana got a new tooth this morning. This is number 5. She is slowly catching up to Gabriel, although he will have 2 more coming in soon. Gabriel also started saying his sister's name. He calls her "Ana". It's so cute too watch. They are often so mean to each other, but they can be very sweet to each other too.
Nate is off track now, so we will see what happens over the next three weeks. We tend to get on each other's nerves after a little while, but we do lots of fun things together too. He is done with his country report now, so that will ease a lot of family stress that we've been dealing with for the last three months. He did a very good job on it.
Life otherwise is much like always. The babies aren't sleeping, despite our every effort to get them to realize that they really aren't THAT hungry. They are both over 20 lbs. now!
